The wind seemed much stronger than earlier… but then again, they were currently over one thousand feet up in the air. Felly could feel her ears popping, but didn’t pay much attention to it. She outstretched her arms and let out a scream, one of pure excitement. Everything felt like a rush.
“Richard, you gotta look at this view!” She shouted over the loud gusts of wind to her younger friend who was sitting down holding onto himself for dear life. “It’s bloody amazing!”
The boy shook his head repeatedly. “No thank you, milady… I will stay right here where it is nice and safe.”
She pouted and walked back over to him and pulled him up. “Don’t be such a pussy, Richard. Besides… a handsome knight like you shouldn’t be afraid of heights and a little wind, yeah?”
He stared at her for a moment or two before nodding before replying in a more confident voice. “You are right, milady. I can do this.”
And with that, he grasped her hand and led them back over to the edge of the building to behold the skyline of London, hand in hand.
